About Pellam

Pellam is a 1yr old, 17lb Shih Tzu/Cavalier mix who came to rescue because he was not the 'look' that the farmer was looking for in a breeding male. Pellam is very shy with people and will need a home with no children that does have a secure physical fence. He would do best with an established small/medium female canine companion to show him the ropes and teach him things like trust, love, play, etc. No male dogs please, he likes being big man on campus. He will need a family committed to helping socialize him and teach him how to do things like walk on leash, ask to potty outside, and seek attention from his humans.
