About Mason

Welcome Mason to CCPAL Rescue. He is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Plot Hound/Pit Bull Terrier is our best guess. He is active and will make an active outdoorsy family a great companion. He knows the sit command and other than pulling some on lead he does ok on it. He is getting neutered soon at the rescue. He is getting his vaccines and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is a really nice dog. He likes the lady dogs and we think once neutered he will be better with male dogs. He would be great as an only dog as well. If you like to hike, run, jog or walk this dog would be a great companion. We think active dogs are best in fenced yards so they can get some of their exercise playing in the yard. He would be ok with kiddos 8 or older. He is currently in Texas at the Rescue. He can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Wisconsin, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 185.
