About Penny

Update: She is in intensive behavior training and under medical care. I have spent hundreds of dollars on her and taken the best of care of her. Her adoption is on hold until her health is ok and she completes her training. She needs a home without cats. This girl was on her way to a kill shelter when I picked her up. Her past is unknown, except she is fearful of strangers to the point of aggression. She is doing behavior work. She chases cats in a bad way and should not try to live in a house with them. I suspect that her prey drive would also be an issue with small farm animals. She gets along with other dogs and she ADORES children. I have never seen any aggression toward a child. She is a perfect house dog: completely house trained, knows sit, down, paw, high five and heel. She's great riding in the car. She LOVES to fetch but she is heartworm positive so needs to be kept calm while under treatment. (We play catch with her by throwing the ball UP so she doesn't run.) She is a sensitive, intelligent velcro Aussie who loves being with her person at all times. She is cuddly, loves to think she should be on your lap, sleeps next to you, and loves all the attention she can get. She is an amazing alert dog, and is super protective to the point of scary. I have posted her as a purebred, which I have to guess, but she looks exactly like a pure black tri. she will come with the rest of her first 6 months of heartworm treatment.
