About Katie and Sterling

Siberian Husky
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Katie and Sterling are gorgeous bonded Husky dogs looking for a home they can call their own. These sweet pups were dumped on the streets of Houston after years of neglect. Fortunately for them, they had each other. We don't know how these two came to be so connected, but their love for each other is unmistakable. Sterling is a little older than Katie - about 4 or 5 years old while Katie is only a couple of years old.%BD%A0%BD%A0He is defintely the calmer of the two. Sterling loves to watch Katie explore and looks after her. He gives her confidence and leads her by example. Sterling is a stunning Husky with bold colors and a serene temperament. He loves to explore and hike, but not as much as Katie. Katie is still very much a puppy as she romps and gets excited to play. This bouncy girl is timid at first, but quickly warms up. Both sweet dogs are great with people of all sizes and with other dogs. The prey/play drive that is so common in the Husky breed keeps them from being good with cats although both were great on trail walks even with wildlife all around.%BD%A0 Sterling and Katie have waited a long time for their forever home. We know that we could have easily adopted them out separately, but we wouldn't dare to break their bond. Their adoption fee is modestly adjusted to allow both pups to be able to be adopted together. They would be perfect for a family or a couple wanting to match up with this amazing duo. Their ideal home would have a large yard or property and an active family that will bring them hiking or camping with them.
