About Cookie

Meet Cookie! Cookie is estimated to be a 5 month old Great Dane mix that weighs 45 lbs. She still has some weight to gain, but is more than happy to eat extra food! Cookie is a playful, goofy puppy that loves playing with all her toys. She loves hopping up on the sofa with you and receiving lots of belly rubs. Cookie loves toys and runs after them for a while before she gets tired. She is housebroken and crate trained. Cookie is good with other dogs (currently is fostered with 3 other dogs), kids of all ages, and is pretty submissive. She loves running around the yard with her dog friends. Her current foster home does not have cats, but it is believed she would do well since she tends to want to ignore other dogs. Cookie walks great on a leash and knowns some basic commands include sit. Cookie does well on car rides and is a playful girl that aims to please. Cookie is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, and being fostered in New Freedom, Pa. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
