About Bella

UPDATED: 09/13/2020 please don't call and ask us if he is available if he is posted he is available and we are accepting applications. Bella. She came to us as a owner surrender. This one made us all cry. We were contacted and asked to find their beloved Bella a new home because they were moving into a facility and the wife is terminally ill. Bella was clearly Daddy's Girl. She followed him everywhere and looked at him like her life depended on it. We offered to hold on to her until he was in a better space to take her back, but he was adamant it would be best to find her a home to live out the rest of her life. So he put her in the crate in the transporter's car as tears rolled down his face and the look in Bella's eyes changed she immediately knew everything had changed. The transporter got a block away and pulled over grabbed Stella from the crate and held her tight as she cried at the sacrifice her people made and Bella's confusion. The foster was supposed to be a temporary foster but they couldn't let her go because they contacted the family and learned more about Bella. They called the rescue and said they would foster until she found a permanent home. In the meantime they are keeping her family updated on her progress. It was slow at first Bella was heartbroken and would not eat and seemed so hurt. She's is doing so well now. She has shed 4 pounds and is closer to the weight she should be. She will be getting a dental after the infection in her teeth has cleared and then she will be spayed. She walks daily, wants to play, is good with the kittens in the house. and even better she is happy. We would love a home for Bella where they will love her the rest of her life.
