[Read About Natural Seizure Care] ** On a 2 week trial to adopt ** Rottweiler Hearts Rescue needs a foster/adopter for this young male Rottie who is special needs. He has recently had several seizures and is now undergoing testing and treatment. We are looking for a home that has experience with epileptic dogs and is willing to administer his meds daily. Rex is also HW positive and has started treatment. This pup is only 10 - 12 months old, and he has had a rough start to his life. He is about 80lbs, neutered, fully vaccinated and is dog friendly. He would be best suited for a dog savvy, adult home. He has had no issues with kids but has not been around them. ADOPTION DETAILS: All RHR available dogs live in foster homes, indoors, as part of the family. Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Raleigh, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $250, including a non-refundable $25 application fee. We operate on a 'first application fee paid, first served' basis.
