Alex was brought to the clinic where I work. She is 2 years old and diagnosed as a diabetic. The owners decided to euthanize. I asked them to please sign her over to me. I have started her on insulin, and she is doing great. The problem is, I have 4 cats and 1 diabetic dog. Alex is used to being an only pet. She is absolutely beautiful, and loves to sleep under the covers. She is used to children, as in her previous household there were multiple. The Veterinarian is optimistic that Alex will go into remission, so she will not need insulin lifelong.
