About Booboo

Little Booboo is a Black with white American Staffordshire Mix that is approximately 5-6yrs of age. Booboo weighs approximately 40lbs. I rescued Booboo from the Contra Costa Animal shelter in Martinez, California in March 2018 as she was going to be euthanized the day of and I volunteered to foster her. Booboo is still in my care and I'm doing my absolute best to find her the most loving and caring home possible that will suit her needs and the owners needs. Booboo has previous history of being reactive towards other dogs and animals and would do best in a home without other dogs and animals or to where she can at least be kept separated. Booboo can possibly be around male dogs if she is introduced slowly and properly. Booboo has a high prey drive and would do best with someone who understands dog behavior and body language. Booboo is most comfortable with adult women and she can sometimes be fearful and anxious of men due to her past as she was most likely neglected during her past life before going into the shelter. I absolutely love Booboo as she is a very smart, loyal, and confident dog. She knows basic commands like Sit, Stay, And Leave it. I have also worked with her on Recall and she is very good at coming to you when her name is called. Booboo is a medium energy dog that requires at least one 30min - 1hr walk per day. Booboo is Crate trained and is comfortable being indoors as long as she gets her daily walk(s). Booboos favorite activities are hiking, running in an open area, and overall being around her owner.
