About Dixie

Dixie is very loyal and loves her people and will follow them to the end of the world. Dixie weighs approximately 47 pounds although she could use a few pounds. Dixie was a staff favorite at the shelter and she comes with a beautiful portrait that one of the volunteers painted of her. She is truly a special girl! Dixie's lumps and bumps are merely cosmetic. They can be easily removed but the vet does not suspect any cancer. Dixie gets along with some dogs, although she would prefer to be an only dog. She is of the age that she is happy to watch Animal Planet while the family is busy with school or work. Dixie will always be up for a walk, hike camping, or anything her family is doing.
