About Black Jack

Don't you just love black cats? Well, meet this handsome boy...Black Jack. This gorgeous cat is about 5 years old and has a shiny coat of medium fur which is full and thick. Like so many other cats, Black Jack was abandoned by his owners who moved away tossing him outside to fend for himself. When we found him, his coat was full of burrs which took many hours of combing, brushing, and snipping to remove. However, we were rewarded with this super sweet fellow who could easily be on the cover of Cat Fancy. Black Jack is VERY affectionate and will immediately flop onto your feet for a belly rub when he first meets you. He tolerates other cats but would most likely prefer to be the only cat in the home. Although, Black Jack does seem to enjoy the company of well-mannered dogs. Several times we have introduced him to two very laid-back dogs and he was quite comfortable around them. This boy is not a little cat weighing in at a little less than 14 lbs. He is not overweight just a healthy cat. Black Jack is looking for his forever home. He has been neutered, microchipped, received one-year rabies and distemper. His adoption fee is a steal at $50.
