Lumix is an affectionate and active five-year-old (estimated DOB 01/01/2015) mixed-breed boy who was rescued from a government dog pound in Thailand and currently lives in Dallas, Texas, USA. When Lumix was found, he had a badly broken and partially paralysed leg which he had to drag behind him in order to get around. Soi Dog Foundation took him to their shelter, and his leg was amputated to relieve his pain and increase his mobility. He has adapted well to life on three legs and hasn't let it slow him down or hold him back for a moment. Shortly after his recovery, Lumix found a home in the USA, but unfortunately, his family's circumstances have since chanced, so he's looking for a home again. As a photogenic and handsome boy, Lumix certainly suits his name. But there's more to him than how he looks. He is also energetic, loyal and a wonderful companion. His current family say he's bright and learns quickly too. A reward of wet food or string cheese (his favourite) for learning new tricks is always gratefully received! Lumix has already made the long journey from Thailand to Texas, so he would love to find a family somewhere in the States. He would do best in a home where he's your one and only four - well, three - legged friend. But don't let that put you off. With all the love he has to give, he will make it feel like a full house! Can you offer Lumix a place where he can truly settle down? Please contact [email protected]
