About Mufasa

Age/Date of birth: 5/14/2020 Breed as best as we can determine: Turkish Van/DSH Hair length/pattern/color: Orange tabby tuxedo with short hair My experience with cats: Lives with older cats and kitten brother. Likes to play with the brother and older male cat. My experience with dogs: Exposed to small dog (teacup size), likes to interact, curious about the dog. (dog is a blind senior) My experience with children: no contact with children I'm delightful because: Mufasa is extremely curious and rolls over on demand. He is a Little purring machine. Stretches and flexes his body like he is made out of the rubber. Likes to 'kiss' and is a total lap cat for short period of time. He watches TV and likes to look outdoors to observe what is going on outside. My Story: I was rescued with my siblings from the garage of people who moved and left their cats and kittens behind. We were in the poor health, malnourished, and infected with fleas. We were fed with syringe for two weeks. With lots of love and care, today, we are healthy and as active as any kitten. Cute things I do: Mufasa's curious activity is chasing his shadow in the evening. He accompanies his human to the shower. Likes the water from the bathtub and waits sitting on the edge of the tub. As soon as the bed is made, he lays there fully stretched. When he sees you returning home he will stand up and give the faint meow stretched as high as he can on the screen door. Likes to bask in the sun when the sun is shining into the house. Drinks lots of water, and plays with an ice cube in the water bowl. My routines and activities: I have a lot of kitten energy and am still learning what is okay to play with and what I should not be playing with. I play, play, play hard. I like to wrestle with my brother. I Like to climb and jump on the cat tree. I Like to play with balls on the tower, and any mouse on the wire. I Like to jump on the fridge to reach for magnets. I Chase candy wrappers and rip and chew on cardboard box. I like to play with any puzzle box with balls inside or bird on the spring gets their attention. Be aware of infatuation with green plants and water in the bowl. I like to chew on leaves (which can be bad for me,) however, I do not have an interest in cat grass and I like playing in my water bowl and sometimes tip it. Very good with using scratching cardboard boxes and posts. Will chew on any dry grass decoration. Easy to trim the nails. Don't demonstrate habit with scratching the furniture. My litter box is cleaned often as my brother and I like to use it together and sometimes we get dirty and need to be cleaned. My special needs: None. I just need normal attention to wiping my eyes and checking my feet after litter box usage as I sometimes end up with poop on them (oopsie). When I am with people I know: I am extremely trusting and lovable towards people that are familiar to me. I run to my foster mom when she calls my name, awaiting pets and to be picked up and cuddled. Favorite treat are belly rubs. I will roll over and lay awaiting scratches. I also like to sleep in this position in deep sleep: stretched and belly up. When I meet new people: First reaction to new person and response to door bell is to hide under the couch, but not scared running away. After while I will come out to explore and curiously meet a visitor
