About Lola

We know....her ears are to die for! Lola, a 15 week, 18 lb German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix (aka a Shepinois - who knew?) who is looking for the perfect forever home. Lola is a very smart, affectionate, eager to please puppy, and in order to grow into a happy, well-behaved and well adjusted adult, she needs a home who will provide her with the perfect combination of stimulation, physical activity, and socialization. She's not a pup for first time dog owners. This breed is known to be smart and highly trainable, great for obedience events, form strong bonds with humans, and is a great companion for active people looking for a hiking or jogging buddy. She has sharp puppy teeth and is puppy mouthy, so children 12+ who understand puppy nibbles and proper correction would be best. She often guards her toys and food from the other dogs in her foster home (but getting better with it!), so if she's an only dog, she'd do great. If there is another dog in the home, they'd have to be able to deal with Litte Miss 'I Don't Want to Share'. Lola is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and her adoption will be finalized upon age appropriate spay. Her adoption fee is $450 + $75 refundable spay fee. *PLEASE NOTE: We are only considering applicants who have prior Shepherd and/or Malinois experience with strong breeds.* If you have the experience and love Lola needs, please submit an app.
