About Faith and Hope

Faith and Hope came to us in very bad shape. Faith had terrible skin covered in pustules and an underlying skin infection. Hope has allergies as well and her ears and paws were affected. Her ears had been infected for so long that there was built up scar tissue. We have had these girls over a year and I am happy to say that they are doing extremely well!!! They have also been heartworm treated as they were also heartworm positive when we took them in. So we keep them on a grain free fish based diet and Faith gets weekly ear treatments and they do great with that. They also became quite overweight while in early foster care so we like to keep them limited to just their meals. These girls only had each other during a very miserable time in their lives when humans failed them and they are extremely bonded. From the picture you can see how much they love each other! We are hoping and praying for a home together where they can receive the love and care they always deserved! A fenced in yard would be great so they can get exercise running around... but overall they are couch potatoes! They love all people and kids and although they have lived with other dogs, they will need a slow intro and time to settle in! We are only adopting to CT residents at this time.
