About Jack

Jack is an adorable eight-month-old, 33 lb. cattle dog/jack russell terrier mix who was found as a stray in rural North Carolina before ending up in a high kill shelter. Thankfully he was saved just in time and is now in Connecticut in a loving foster home anxiously waiting to start his happily furever after. This precious pup is as sweet as they come. He loves nothing more than cuddling, giving kisses, and getting belly rubs. He enjoys playing with toys, running in the yard, chewing on bones, and being with his people. He will enjoy hours of playtime before crashing on the couch for some snuggles. Jack is a very fast learner and is treat motivated, making him a great student for further training - he learned how to sit in just a few minutes! Jack is great with other dogs and must go to a home with another young pup of the same energy level. He would be fine with older children if they're dog savvy (nothing under 8 years old). A fenced yard and adopters not gone long hours are highly preferred. His adoption fee is $350 and Jack is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
