About Arlo

Arlo is a sweet boy who is approx 5 months old, 25-30 pounds, Black Lab mix. He just lost his puppy canines and is getting his big boy teeth! Arlo absolutely loves children and other dogs. His current foster family has four big dogs he is plays well with and all of them. His foster family also has cats which he desperately wants to play with. They however, are not that interested in him. Arlo is fully crate trained and does not make messes or whine in his kennel. The family is working with him on house training and he does well as long as the humans are vigilant. He can have an accident if you don't pay close attention. He is very playful and loves to chew bones and toys. After playing for a while, he loves to then cuddle up with his people and take a nap. He loves snuggling on the bed and really loves ice water. He fishes the ice cubes out of the bowl and takes them over to the rug and crunches on them. He's learning his name but gets distracted easily. Arlo doesn't like when he gets in trouble for stealing socks but he's smart enough to know better! Loud voices or sounds startle him and he tends to try to hide. He will require a fenced in yard, so he can run and play when he is fully vaccinated. Arlo will do best with an active family who has a stay-at-home or work-from-home human, who are willing to keep him busy and take the time for obedience training. He's going to make someone a very good companion and friend. Arlo will be have received two sets of puppy vaccines, Bordetella, rabies and neutered plus microchipped before going to a forever home.
