Emily is a true rescue - her original 'owner' is currently avoiding a warrant for her arrest after failure to appear in court for animal abuse charges after she was found throwing some of Emily's puppies into a creek. Emily's ears were butchered and she was found with various lacerations and a bone chip before being taken in by Knine Rescue and brought to the DC area along with four of her puppies who have all been adopted. Knine Rescue has since had her spayed and the vet operated on her bone chip so she is no longer in pain. She's a loving dog - is extremely patient with children and very motivated by food. She is a smart dog that has taken well to some training but needs a forever home that will be able to spend the time training her. We want to help find her a loving home and the right training so that she can have the wonderful life she deserves.
