About Callie

Adoption Fee: $195.00
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Sporting an absolutely gorgeous coat with its vibrant oranges mixed with black and white, and her white tipped tail, Callie is a beautiful calico girl who is approximately 2 to 4 years old. No longer a scrawny 5 pound kitten producing machine, Callie is off the street and now a somewhat pleasantly plump gal who weighs in at 8/9 pounds although still petite in body length. She absolutely dotes on my brother who spends as much time as possible with her in her personal bedroom. She snuggles up beside him, rolls over to go tummy up, makes both blanket and air biscuits and will happily chirp while receiving attention. While she does enjoying playing with toys, she prefers receiving attention and lounging on her cat tower birdwatching. While outside before her spay, according to her feeder, Callie was constantly beset by roaming toms and forced to defend herself and her litters of kittens from the large population of kitties that roam the neighborhood often causing her to be defensive and combative with the other kitties. Since occupying my red bedroom, which she shared with her daughter, Fiona, who has been adopted, Callie has accepted my personal kitties when they have entered her abode to check in on her, although she is wary of them and typically hides in a condo while they are meandering. So it may be best that she is the only kitty, or a resident in a home with a non dominant kitty. Callie is located in Richmond, Virginia. She has been combo tested and is negative for both feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. All she needs now is a human or humans to call her very own. While she will most likely be shy at first in her new home, I have no doubt that Callie will warm up and be overjoyed to be the sole recipient and/or one of two kitties who is the subject of attention/affection. If you have space in your heart and your home for this beautiful kitty girl, please feel free to contact me/message me. I do when possible like to receive a vet reference for potential adopters.
