About Rapha

Rapha is a 2yr old male full blooded australian cattle dog. He was born 7/4/18. He is good with bigger dogs and adult cats. He is skittish around kittens. He is high energy. He has not been properly socialized, therefore he is fearful of strangers and somewhat territorial at first introduction. He has not been around small children, would not recommend to family with small children. He loves to play ball or fetch. We have had him since birth, we owned his mother. For us, my husband, my mother in law, and I he is very loving and affectionate. When someone he has not seen in months or stranger comes, he is nervous, and unpredictable. With proper training and socialization, I believe that he would be great companion for adult couple. We live in the country with few contacts with other people. Our work/school schedules as well as our isolated living area have contributed to his anxiety regarding strangers. For the right family, the adooption fee could be waived. We just want to ensure that he goes to a good home.
