About Kissy

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!!! This little lady's name is Kissy and she is an amazing dog but has a special case going .... Kissy is a sensitive dog who has been moved around a bit. She is insecure and the most time very very sweet but she can show fearful biting when she is in a vulnerable situation such as the vet, or it happened when she tried on a new harness, ect...She immediately bonded with my husband here but we were told 1 hour prior that she wouldn't be good with men. Long story short it was probably the environment which made her a nervous dog and was probably abused on a few occasions. She is house trained and used to free roam. We already know that we are looking for a home with NO small children as she is resource guarding and NO other dogs as she can get very possessive over the person she bonds with. Kissy is a 35 lbs Labradoodle and 4 years old. She would like a home where she gets exercised properly and someone will work with her on her social skills. She is great with people but will bark at strangers sometimes at first until settled down. She does well with kids but we are looking for a home with older children if any. She would NOT be a good fit for a first time dog owner and we rather have her with someone who has had dogs in the past and knows a trick or two and doesn't get intimidated and help her through her struggle. Alpha personality is a must. An apartment would not work. She has separation anxiety due to her being moved around much in her young life. She will bark and wine for a while if left alone and potentially scratch the door as well. She needs someone who is home a lot and take her places while running errands if the weather permits. Kissy LOOOOOVES To ride in the car with you . She loves going on trips and hikes. She walks very great on the leash. If at home all she wants is being with her human. She will lay next you on if you allow her on furniture or lay on your feet. If you would like to meet Kissy, please send us a message in order to receive an application.
