The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since August 7, 2020. Sadly I am set to be euthanized in a couple of days. My reason for being E-listed is a 'mixed bag' There are several things: I did not do well with other dogs in my dog to dog evaluation but I might be ok with a calm female. I am very skittish, shy and unsure of my surroundings and I can get mouthy and 'bitey' on the leash. I might have a lot of minor issues but not bad enough where I need to be put down!...Can you save my life? I am so loving and will smother you with affection! When you first me me, I might flinch and duck my head when you try to pet me. I will warm up though; just give me a little time....Please be patient.....My life has been so unstable and I lack confidence right now. This is my second time in the shelter. Both times I was found as a stray. I have had a lot of trauma... I have been abandoned, lost and even had a net thrown over me! I need stability, structure and routine. Older kids would be better. If I were to go to a home with other dogs, I would need responsible crate separation (with slow introduction) and I would be best with a calm easygoing dog. This is my last chance at life.. Can I just find a loving home that will love me and I can depend on to take care of me?
