About Mekah

I'm looking to rehome my American Bulldog Mekah. Free to good home. We adopted her about 3 years ago, she's estimated to be 8 years old. Mekah was adopted from a kill shelter and has many issues that I wasn't prepared for, especially having 3 young boys. I'm hoping to find someone that is able to give her the time and training that she needs, and possibly even kennel her outdoors. I want to be completely up front so whoever might take her is fully prepared and understanding. She does have bathroom issues, if you don't prompt her and force her outside she will go in the house. She has also used the bathroom on beds. She will jump fencing, ours is standard wood fencing and she clears it and runs, so we only put her out on a yard stake. She has major storm anxiety so she shakes horribly and she will also cause damage if she's alone when it's storming (she's torn down bedroom doors). All that being said, she has an amazing loving personality and I love her to pieces, it's heartbreaking for me to have to rehome her, but it's causing a lot of issues for us in general. I'm hoping someone can understand her and love her as much as I have, but give her the life she deserves. I'm in plant city. She is fixed, she has a year long flea collar that'll expire in November. She does need her shots updated. She's also great and patient with kids! Please read everything and understand what you're getting into before making a decision, I definitely want this to be her forever home.
