Courtesy Posting: GOLDIE - ID#A112083 Kings County Shelter, Hanford, Central CA https://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=KNGS.A112083 Goldie is a handsome young boy found as a stray who ended up in the remote Kings County Shelter in Hanford in Central California. Estimated to be 2 years old with no apparent medical issues, he was tested with both an unaltered male dog and a cat, both which he did well with and was submissive to (yes, even to the cat who sniffed him all over). Goldie is perfect size at 44 lbs and does have a partially black tongue so our best guess is that he is a chow eskie mix. He is a bit shy with people at first and will need someone to make him feel comfortable, but he is very sweet and shows no signs of aggression per the shelter. We have lots of video we can share with a dog, cat and people that can be viewed on the links below in dropbox. The shelter did mention he did some submissive peeing and when they left him alone, so he may need some training and or to feel more comfortable, but does not seem to be a marker. Goldie now needs a loving home asap, as he is in a remote kill shelter. We are looking for an adopter or a foster we can pair with a nearby a rescue to the foster, to save him.
