About Juliet

Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Juliet is a family dog and has been raised with small children from age 2-8. She is an amazing and athletic dog as well as very affectionate. She is great at escaping if you do not have a secure fence. She will always come home before long but enjoys getting out to explore. A year ago she got out and was hit by a car, so she now has only three legs but can still climb a 4 foot fence if she's motivated. Since the accident she has become aggressive towards other dogs. WeSWe still take her out but sheashe needs to be kept on a strong leadblead and keep distance from other animals. She's always been passionate about chasing cats. Our property borders a heavily trafficked bike path. We have had a series of issues with her getting out to chase bicyclists and bark at dogs. She has never bitten any dog or person but she scares people. She seems to think she owns the path. I have my hands full and can't give her the attention she needs. It breaks our hearts to let her go. Her mom is a blue nosed pit and her dad was brindle like her. PS. She's smart too. I taught her to ring a bell to come in the house, so she won't scratch up your door. She can take her doorbell with her.
