Madison came to us from a high kill shelter after spending two months there.Incredibly scared, under weight from mistreatment and Neglect. Madison was in pretty bad shape. Now fully recovered close to her proper weight and living with the foster family. It's been wonderful to see this sweet girl come out of her shell and start enjoying life the way she deserves. She has been a lovely guest at her foster home, housebroken, respectful of their property, and has mastered a few commands. She is definitely intelligent, treat motivated and eager to please.Madison takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people. Once she is comfortable she loves to cuddle. She is a incredibly chill dog who likes to spend her time with her family or lounging in the backyard sun by her self. Belly rubs are her favorite and always produce the biggest smiles. Madison would thrive in a house where there's someone usually home all the time but is becoming more comfortable being by herself and she's also very good with older children. Since Madison was never properly socialized she is a bit picky about the dog she would like to play with. She does well on a leash but will need a family who will continue her socializing and leash-training
