About Big Mo, Eskimo kisser

Adoption Fee: $100
Domestic Cat
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Howdy there! I'm Big Mo, who got my moniker because I weigh a whopping 16 pounds! I'm not fat, but I just have a big bone structure! I'm a calm, languid, curious, sociable, cuddly, brave red 'tuxedo' tabby (with white on my chin and chest) DSH fella with gold-guinea eyes who was born in May 2011. When my foster meowmy kisses me, I give her an Eskimo kiss by putting my nose on her nose. I love it when she pets me, and when she stops but I want more, I gently paw her to guide her hand back to stroking me again. I adore her loving on me, cherish any attention from her, and even permit her to pick me up like a toddler for short periods of time. Special times for me are when I sit in her lap (sometimes for 3 hours!) and 'make biscuits' on her thigh while she watches TV or nap with her on lazy afternoons. Some days I follow her around all day long and especially hang out with her in the kitchen; other days, I'm more independent and entertain myself with catnip toys, exploring around the house, or lounging on the cat tree to bask in a sunbeam. Let's just say I'm a good balance of spending time with my humans without being clingy. I've become so acclimated here that I'm even good with strangers; no, you'd never call me a 'fraidy cat. I get along great with the little dog and one particular male cat in my foster home, but I find it hard to get the attention I need with the plethora of other cats around here. Foster Meowmy thinks I would do best with just one other pet in the house. I had been adopted as a young adult from Buster's Friends but years later showed up at a shelter 500 miles from Houston. Fortunately the shelter traced me back to Buster's Friends since BF had bought my microchip. My foster meowmy had never liked the unpleasant family who had adopted me, so she was delighted for a chance to foster me again and find a much better home for me the second time around. To return me to Houston involved an amazing relay of 4 people (one of whom was the shelter director), each who chauffeured me for 2 hours at a time! When Foster Meowmy took me to the vet, all my lab work fell within normal parameters, and the vet proclaimed that overall I'm in fantastic health! Now I've even had a dental cleaning, which had probably never been done before. I'm luxuriating in my loving foster home until I get my second chance with a family who will cherish me as I deserve. Could that be you? If you're looking for a loving, (mostly) constant companion, I'm your man! Arrange to meet me today! Big Mo is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Big Mo, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.
