About Frida

Hello. I have had Frida for almost two years. She was tied up the first two and a half years of her life. That is what kickstarted what she has to deal with now- severe thunderstorm anxiety. :( at this point in time, she is not able to be left alone in case it rains. She has busted through windows and chewed up door frames while home alone, to get out of the house. She gets super anxious and needs a person by her side. Unfortunately, it has become a bigger problem than I am able to fix. She's had thunder jackets, CBD, melatonin, two kinds of medications, thunderstorm music to try to get her used to it... nothing has really helped. So I need to find her a home or take her to a shelter.... I have been bringing her to work with me but I cannot do that forever. Otherwise, she is a great dog. Very calm pup after she's said hi to you in the morning. Not a jumper. Knows sit, lay down and paw. Up to date on all her vaccinations, takes flea medication and Hartguard monthly. Is great with dogs, but can get overwhelmed at first. She does go to the dog park or beach about once a month at least. She loves long walks and hiking, swimming! She's a wonderful pup that I would hate to give up. I am searching for someone who has the time to work with her.
