The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jun 18, 2020. When you get to know him, you have earned the trust of a very sweet and gentle boy. This boy can be the most lovable and gentle pup that leans in for attention, wiggles around on his back and happily soaks up your company. While we know he is a very sweet boy, he is also wary of new people. You may not be his best friend the minute you meet him, but those who have spent time with him have come to see the real Zeus- full of personality and brimming with potential. Zeus has done well with some dogs and his owner said he did well with the cats he lived with too. He could be adopted to the right home, which at this time may be an owner with experience with dogs who have some 'stranger danger' and no children. It is possible Zeus may not display those behaviors in a home environment, but we can only guess based on the behavior he has exhibited in the shelter. Zeus could also be a great candidate for a qualified foster-based rescue!
