About Buddy

Buddy is the original Velcro boxer! He doesn't require much in the way of attention, but he really wants to be in the same room as you, lying down on a comfy doggie bed and relaxing. He has the most adorable bark, a pretty pitiful 'woo-woo' and it's adorable. Buddy is super treat motivated and likes all sorts of fruits and vegetables (except carrots - Buddy has let us know numerous times he doesn't like carrots!). After dinner, Buddy likes to settle down with a peanut butter Kong; it makes him very happy. Buddy enjoys short walks, sleeps through the night and can be left alone in the house; he doesn't jump on people, or get on furniture. He likes to 'nuzzle' when he's happy and will rub his head back and forth into his blanket to show you how pleased he is with life in general. He is such a good boy! Buddy is 9 years old and weighs around 80 lbs.; he is housebroken, doesn't need a crate and walks well on a leash. He is not currently living with kids, other dogs or cats, but did live with a dog prior to coming to us.
