About Tilly, Adopted

Boxer
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Hello! My name is Tilly! I'm an energetic, vocal, happy, 10 year old lady (I'm in great shape for my age!) who has been taken in by LBR and my FOMA (foster mama) because I didn't like to share my food with my fur sibling at my last home. I have a grain allergy so I'm on Blue Wilderness chicken flavored diet and I love it so much I don't like to share it or have other fur friends near it. My FOMA feeds me in my crate in the evenings and she tells me I do well that way. My FOMA says I'm a good and smart girl! I like my treats and will do anything for one! I know 'sit', 'lay', 'move' and I'm learning 'crate'. My FOMA works at a hospital some days so when she is working I rest in my crate with my toys and am a good girl for 12 hours. I don't have any accidents in the house or my crate and I'm good about going to the door when I need outside. My human has learned when I am vocal and at the door I want to go outside to play or do my business! I sleep in my crate at night (although if you let me I would be perfectly happy on your bed too) and do well and when I'm ready to go out in the morning to do my business I let you know! I love playing fetch with the ball and going for a walk. I pull just a little bit at first and then after the first couple minutes I settle in and walk very well with leash and harness. I will alert you if I think someone is walking too close to my home. Even though cats talk funny to me, they don't bother me. The fur sibling I have now is quite younger than me and wants to play a lot and even though I'm more interested in my humans, I'm ok with my fur sibling too. I like the little humans because I love for them to pet me. However I do get very excited when they pet me or play with me and if they are little, sometimes I might accidentally knock them down but I don't mean to hurt anyone. I like to meet new people, I just can't always contain my excitement and sometimes I am overly affectionate. If you let me, I'll get in your lap and on the couch because I just want to love on my people and be close! I just recently got spayed, am heartworm negative (woohoo!), and just had three cysts removed (my kind of k9 is known to get these). I'll get those sutures out at the end of the month and if all goes well not long after that, I'll be available to find my forever home! If you would like to meet me and see if I would be a great addition to your family, please let my friends at LBR know! My heart is as big as my ears and tongue and I'm ready to share my love with my forever family!!
