About Moe

Meet Mr. Moe! This big boy is approximately 2-years old and weighs 70-lbs. He has such calm energy for a young dog but he loves to run around and play with his dog friends and humans too! Doesn't understand fetch though! He enjoys walks and is great on the leash, minus that he runs at cars when they drive by ���� but we are working on that! He also loves to just chill outside. Sometimes he goes up on the deck and just watches over his foster family. He's been great with their 4-year old granddaughter and 2-month old grandson! He loves sitting with their granddaughter when she's playing with anything and will join in and chew on her toys sometimes ���� but he is learning what is his vs theirs. He has been sweet and playful with every dog he has met and there's been quite a few! We were told he was not good with cats but we have no first-hand knowledge of that. He likes to lay on the couch, chair, bed, etc... but the floor or a dog bed suits him just fine too! Just depends on what mood he is in! He is a big boy but thinks he's a lap dog and will even squeeze his way onto a small chair with his foster mom ?? He's an extreme snuggler and it's so adorable! He will literally jump up next to you and put one of his arms on your back and the other around your tummy. At night he sleeps like an angel in his kennel and doesn't stir until we come down in the morning. He has zero food aggression that we have seen and will even leave a little kibble for the other dogs to enjoy. Takes treats very gently. He has had some marking issues in the house but those have gotten so much better since he was neutered. Just to be on the safe side they keep a belly band on him while in the house and he is keeping those mostly dry now ���'� They are working on basic commands.
