About Indy

Indy is a 7 month old male bull terrrier/basenji cross. This sweet boy was found tied to a fence on 4th of July (where his name came from) with a bag of dog food and a note asking to find him a good home. This boy had a leather shock collar on that had to be cut off, and 2 holes from having been electrocuted. The vet couldn't believe it. We had to shave his neck down and apply an antibiotic intent for a few weeks. He does have a quite interesting bark, he sort of sounds like a seal. Indy would love to have a dog sibling as he is incredibly dog friendly. he currently resides at an 8 acre rescue ranch with 21 other friends who he loves to play with. His favorite is fetch, he both retrieves and returns. He also LOVES water, he is often found fully submerged in the puppy pool enjoying his summer. Indy is housebroken, crate trained and walks pretty well on a leash. We are recommending Indy go to a home with children over the age of 10 ( some exceptions can be made) due to his puppy energy.
