About Rusty

Rusty is losing his foster home no fault of his . This angel needs a new home where he can hang his milk bones . He was pulled from death row and the foster was successful in distressing and decompressing him . Rusty would be perfectly happy as an only child with a person going on walks!! He's completely content sleeping on his sofa he would be very happy just chilling with someone. Rusty LOVES walk and is a pleasure to walk on a leash without pulling. This angel also content to just lay near you. Rusty isn't high energy or maintenance so he does not need 1,000,000 mile walk to be happy. He Is on the quiet side does not bark a lot at all only if there's a goat outside your window,lol . Rusty doesn't like sudden movement and will get startled. Rusty has some resource guarding issues but has gotten better. Mostly food he guards. I know I sometimes have to guard my food lol He is a really a very sweet man with a soft voice...He needs time and patients to warm up to people but when he does he is your best chill buddy . Rusty loves company he is just very slow to trust initially. Foster says he will sit on the sofa and talk to him while he's eating his breakfast and he'll take a break and come over and hop up on the sofa and curl up next to him to be petted and get some belly rubs. Then he'll get back down and go over and finish eating then he looks for his milk bone and if I grab the leash he is super excited Rusty loves belly rubs very low maintenance and would be happy to just meander around your home with you and lay wherever you are.Housetrained no accidents Does not seem to be reactive or too much interested in other dogs around not excitable. Rusty is shooting for the moon a furever home , however he will also love to fall among the stars in a loving understanding and patient foster house .
