Meet OTIS Otis is a guest of the Norwich Animal Control in Norwich, CT but is ready to bust out! Pound puppies have limited time in these small temporary facilities. It's not his fault he's homeless so let's give him a second chance! Mr. Otis was found roaming around Otis Library in downtown Norwich (hence his name), but was never claimed. He is a tan neutered male pit bull approximately 2 years old. He is energetic and loves to chase a ball or stick and finds any kind of play great fun. Because he is active and still a jumper, we recommend his adopter have no kids younger than 16 in the household. However, with training and positive reinforcement, his jumpiness could be addressed. Otis can live with a compatible dog, but needs a home without cats. **We recommend meet and greets with any potential canine siblings. He was adopted in April to a good home. Unfortunately, Otis was not properly introduced to the owner's three cats and went after one of them resulting in the cat's death. The owner really liked Otis and was sad to return him.
