About Guinea Pig

Pumba is looking for his forever home! He is estimated to be a little over one year old. He is a shy boy that takes some time to warm up, but is a funny boy who will take veggies from your hand, once he feels more comfortable. He is a BIG BOY and needs plenty of space. He is currently caged by himself with his son (Timone) in a cage next to him. Pumba is a bully, so Timone and Pumba are separated. It is recommended that Pumba be caged by himself and not introduced to another pig in the same cage. Pumba wheeks to be fed in the morning and at night. He even hears when his foster mom is getting her veggie Tupperware containers out of the fridge, and he starts wheeking! He loves playing in and eating big piles of hay. He loves when you change or move the hideys in his cage to different places or create mazes for him. He gets very excited when you put him back in his cage after putting fresh bedding in it. Guinea pigs are social animals, so he should be adopted with a friend (Timone) or into a house with another piggie to talk to.
