About Josie

Josie is a dog that I took in as a puppy. We estimated her to be around 4 months when we got her, she was a stray for that time. Josie has an extremely high prey drive, and energy level. She absolutely needs someone who is active on a daily basis, or most of the week. She needs someone who has the time and patience to train her, as she is very quick to learn. I believe she would do best with a 1 or 2 person household, no animals, no children. She has never bit my children, but I believe she would be better without them. She loves attention, loves treats, and EXERCISE. I can't stress enough that the home she go to be active, either with hiking, or training. She needs someone that is gentle in training (as does every dog), not someone woth a short temper. She is not fixed (yet) and she has had 2 litters. She is not vaccinated, but has been wormed. She has very high prey drive. She will NOT do well with small animals. Overall, she is a loving girl, that just wants to run and be loved, and I believe she will adjust well. As a side note, I dont know that she's malinois, i just put the breed i thought she resembled and behaved most like. I suspect she might have German shepherd. Thank you for reading!
