About JOEY

Hi I'm Joey (dog friendly....very loving and affectionate see my videos) Sadly I am set to be euthanized on Wed. Aug 12th 6 pm. I have been here over 60 days!! I am mentally struggling in my kennel. It is inhumane for the shelter to keep me here . The stress is starting to really affect my behavior both in and out of my kennel. When I get taken out for walks, I really resist going back in the kennel...do you blame me? My life will be over if I don't get out ...Will you please save my life? Notice how cute and loving I am? (see videos). I am a 3-year old, neutered, white and black American Pit Bull Terrier mix. When I came into the shelter as a stray on 6/8/20, I was a friendly boy and had no problems with staff handling me. I have been great with other dogs. I even appropriately greeted and co-existed with a helper dog. I also had a meet and greet with a senior female dog. I didn't do anything bad, but I think I had too much energy for her. I am always loving tail waggin friendly. Good on a leash. I Love to rest my head on your leg, lean in for petting and will follow you! The stress is becoming to much.
