About Sugar

Sugar is a cream and white Miniature Poodle mix. She is estimated to be 14 years old. She is not currently at the Austin Animal Center, but staying in a foster home. Shelter Staff comments about her: Sugar is excited to show you she's embarked on the journey of a lifetime, toward a healthier lifestyle after arriving to the shelter in neglected condition. She's had a shave down so she can have a fresh start in life and will be having a couple of medical procedures completed soon. She's the picture of resilience: happy and quite spunky! She loves sharing a home with small dog friends and has great potty skills and no mobility issues. She'll be all she can be with help from her foster mom and her advocates at classiccanines.org and then, she'll be ready for the rest of her journey...to a new loving home that will cherish her and take care of her inner and outer spirit.
