BARC introduces Sugar Pea. Sugar Pea is a 5-6 pound rat terrier / chihuahua / dachshund mix. She is an owner surrender. Her life, up to now, was as an 'outside' dog. That means she was not allowed in the home but lived outside in the rain, cold and heat. It is an expression which means she was not loved and cherished as a family member. That is all different now. She is inside, loved and cherished. She could not be happier as all she wants to do is cuddle with her person. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations before leaving rescue. Due to her small size, she needs a home with children over 5 years of age and a fenced yard for when she is outside in order to keep her safe.
