We are seeking rescue for her because she can be fearful with strangers. Diamond (A746530) is an approximately 3-year-old spayed female Australian Kelpie mix weighing 37.8 lbs. She was brought in as a stray, but sadly, her owner never came in to redeem her. Diamond is a shy, sensitive girl who needs some time and patience to come out of her shell. She enjoys chasing balls in the yard, which helped her feel more comfortable with us when she first arrived at the shelter. When we attempted to introduce her to a social large dog, she initially crouched into a stalking position, began whining, and then lunged at the other dog.
