About Zoe Belle

Adoption Fee: $300
Catahoula / Border Collie
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

My husband and I rescued Zoe in effort to save her life at the time. She is a Border Collie / Catahoula Leopard Dog, her mom and dad are both purebred show dogs. She had been torn away from her mothers milk and her siblings at the age of 4-5 weeks old and tossed around to 3 abusive homes. The first home they decided they didn't want her so neglected her, the second home she was abused and neglected and eventually they also decided they didn't want her, the third home the adults in charge were heavy drug users (coke, meth ect.). The little boy in the third home was ignored and allowed to do anything, this little puppy was beaten and terrorized, stuck in a nightmare she couldn't escape. Some time later my sister told me about the situation and as much as I am not a dog person my heart broke at the pain this puppy had endured so I took her in. Months prior I had moved from the country into the city with my husband, so unfortunately even though my home was a safe zone, Zoe was not able to run around like a cattle dog needs. Zoe is now 8 months old, she loves cuddles, she is quick to retain and listen (when she wants too), she is one of the smartest dogs I've ever had, she struggles with anxiety due to her past and needs someone willing to take time to invest into her healing heart. She has loads of energy, she is a little shy with new dogs, but after proper integration warms up and is the life of the party. My husband and I love our puppy, but we just are not the right home for her since we don't have land at the moment. I would love to be able to find a home for her that will be able to giver her the love, attention, and land that she so desperately wants and needs. Zoe is in a loving home and I am patient to find her the perfect home. The home I will let her go to will be a ranch or a farm where she can heard cattle, sheep, ect and then be able to come inside and cuddle with her owner on the couch at the end of the day. This dog needs love, but also needs to be worked like the cattle dog she is. If you email me, explain the home life Zoe would have. IF you believe you are that home I am looking for, for her please reach out!! IF YOU DON'T HAVE LAND DO NOT CONTACT ME, I WILL NOT LET HER GO TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE A RANCH SITUATION.
