About Taco

Taco is one amazing boy! He came to us at the beginning of the year as a beat up stray that was crying for help. We got him vetted and patched up. He was FIV positive and had a URI at time of intake. He also had some wounds that needed healing. Antibiotics patched him up and TLC healed his heart! Right at the beginning of COVID he was adopted into a home. A month after we heard from an ex family member that there was emotional turmoil in the house that led to a scared cat that found 'safety in the wall.' They got him out for him to just spend days in a carrier before we got the call. When we picked him up close to midnight that night he was covered in feces and had lost almost half of his body weight, a rescuer's nightmare! We thought we would get a scared fractious, broken cat back. We were wrong. He was so happy to back at 'home' with his friends he buried himself in us and purred and and purred. Fast forward a few weeks (and a few pounds) he is again ready for a home of his own! We want him to have a stable home with other cat friends and humans that love him to pieces like we do! He gets along famously with other cats, loves pets and being brushed. If you are ready to open your home and heart to Taco let us know! He is the best!
