Just look at that smile! Meet Burr, the most amiable easy-going pup you ever will meet. He's a ten-year-old Labrador mix with a heart of gold. Being a tri-pod is no problem for this boy. He will tell you he gets around just fine, thank you. In fact, not much bothers him. Give him a square meal and a warm bed, and he'll follow you to the moon and back. He's a calm gentle companion who would love to share your sofa. Weighing only forty pounds, he doesn't take up much room either. Burr leans into you and sighs when you give him a backrub or stroke his velvety ears. This devoted pup is perfect for a retiree or a family with older children that are home most of the day. He is content to pitter-patter after you as you go about your day or nap quietly at your feet. Burr's mellow disposition helps him make friends easily with other dogs; and he's respectful of cats too. This well-mannered pup is a gentleman in the home and completely housebroken. Burr is great on a leash but isn't crazy about long walks; an early morning or late evening stroll around the block will do. A fenced in yard will give him a safe place to potty and explore at his leisure. On hot hazy days or cold winter nights, Burr makes his pit stops short.
