About Marnie

Marnie is a gentle 5.5 year old Terrier mix looking for her emotional support canine companion. She weighs 14 pounds and is full grown. Marnie will always look to another canine for guidance and it is important that her companion is able to help her over come her social anxieties. She is good with adults but would do best in a home with no young children. Marnie may do well with dog savvy quiet/calm teens that will go at her pace and respect her boundaries. She may shy away from affection but she is a loyal canine that prefers her human(s) to be home most of the time. Marnie will need time and patience to adjust in a new environment. She loves to cuddle in a comfy bed and would be most comforted by having a big enough bed to hang out next to her canine companion. Marnie is house broken, knows how to use a doggy door and rides well in the car. She needs a securely fenced backyard as she does not know how to walk on a leash and completely freezes when put in a harness. Her favorite activity in her previous home was running in the backyard and will hopefully help her open up just a bit more. Marnie needs understanding humans who will take the time to gain her trust and eventually start leash training and help her explore more of the world together. A home check will be required prior to adoption. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $260 includes a free vet visit.
