About Hershey

Meet Hershey, a beautiful 10-year-old, 34 lb chocolate merle boy! He needs YOUR help! His original owners did not have sufficient time to care for him with a baby on the way ���� and his adoptive family is now no longer able to care for him ���� so Hershey is back and hoping third time is the charm! �٪%8F��%8F� He is ok with other dogs but does not really interact with them and prefers that they do not get in his face. We don't know about cats or kids. He is very loving towards his humans and craves and loves attention. Hershey originally weighed 24 lbs but came back to us at 34 lbs ���%A0 so his foster Mom is working to get those extra 10 lbs back off between diet (he loves apples) and exercise. Poor Hershey suffers from food allergies and is on a grain free poultry/free diet. He had ear ablation surgery in one ear so his hearing is limited and he has dry eyes (following cherry eye surgery) and requires inexpensive, over-the-counter eye drops (Refresh) for the remainder of his life.
