About Calvin

Calvin Calvin is a 7 year old pitbull who not long ago became blind, but he doesn't let that slow him down a bit! Calvin enjoys going for long walks, sitting outside and smelling the breeze, and snuggling with anyone who has a nice lap to crawl in. Calvin walks nicely on a leash and is quickly learning that when he has good manners he gets good things! Calvin is a sweet boy and adores the ladies, but he can be a little unsure of men and needs a home who will be understanding that because he can't see, he needs a little more time than the average dog to get to know people. He has not been cat or dog tested in his foster home yet as they are giving him time to decompresses, but he did previously live in a home with a calm female dog. Because Calvin is a big boy and tends to run into things quite a bit when he's excited, a home with no children or older children would be ideal.
