Looking for couch to lounge on and a back yard to sunbathe in... Heidi and Kaiser are a pair of 12-year-old dachshund mixes. Pulled from Franklin County Shelter after coming in together as strays, Heidi and Kaiser are UTD on all shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Both have had recent dentals with quite a few teeth pulled. This doesn't stop them from eating crunchy food. Heidi - tiny 9 lb, brown and white long hair, spayed, will follow you everywhere, wants to touch you. Nervous stomach, currently being fed prescription low fat diet. Kaiser - big boy 20 lb, black and white long hair, neutered, wants to know where you are, but doesn't need to be with you every minute. Has a licker control problem that needs worked on. Someone who is home most of the time would be ideal to keep them on a regular potty schedule. They both crave human attention and can be vocal to get it. They are being fostered in a home with a toddler but would do better in a home with no children/older children or children who only visit. Love being outside with a secure fence. It is unknown how long they have been together, but they not overly attached. Separation may be possible, willing to try. Good on leash and does well with other dogs in social setting. Cat compatibility is unknown. Currently fostered in Columbus OH.
