About Chihuahua

Burrito's human dad passed away and I have been fostering him for a few months now. He is said to be 11 years old but acts much younger. He gets along great with my 4 other dogs and 3 cats. He is very affectionate and loving, He is the picture perfect lap dog and loves to sleep under the covers with me at night. Burrito absolutely must be leashed or in a fenced yard at all time. Great care must be taken around open doors not to allow him to escape. He has escaped once from me and it took a trail of hot dog bits all the way up the driveway and into the house to get him back home. Burrito always poops outside but is still working on his pee pee training and needs frequent opportunities to go potty outside. I crate him if I am going to be gone more than 2 hours and he does very well in a crate. Burrito has had one very minor seizure while in my care and my vet opted to just watch him and he has not had another one. Burrito would do very well in a home with an older couple or someone that is home a lot as he loves to be around people. Burrito is safe with me for as long as it takes to find him a great home. I was given some of his previous vet records and will pass those along. I can transport him within 3 hours of Johnson City TN
