'Hello, friend. Is it okay that I call you friend? I hope so because I really think that we're going to be the best of buddies! My name is Simon and I'm a 6 year old kitty that came to SVASC after my owner passed away. I was so scared and shaken up from the situation when I got to the shelter that I wouldn't let anyone touch me for a few weeks. Luckily, I started to get comfortable and came around pretty nicely and am making friends with the staff here at SVASC. I can be pretty particular about how I enjoy affection and don't like when you move too fast with me, but don't worry because once I like you, I really like you. If your my friend (and I know that we're going to be the best of pals!) I enjoy being cared around and doted on like the handsome boy that I am. I seem to be a pretty laidback cat, so if you want a gorgeous, fluffy house cat to keep you company and keep that spot on the back of your sofa warm, then I'm your guy!
